1. Pour a little apple or table vinegar into a glass jar of any size and close it with a lid, with previously made holes. Trap will help get rid of midges in the kitchen or in other places of the greatest concentration of insects. Vinegar can be replaced with pieces of fruit or dishwashing detergent.
2. The original bottle trap is obtained from a plastic container. To do this, cut off its upper part and insert it with its neck down into the lower wide half. It turns out a kind of funnel. All existing joints are sealed with tape so that midges fall into the trap only through the funnel. At the bottom of the bottle lay fruit slices, pour juice, jam or apple cider vinegar.As soon as the bait starts to roam, the insects will fly into a pleasant aroma, but they will not be able to get out.

   

3. The midge lure can be made from a plastic cup containing yogurt or other dairy products. The design is similar to that described in the first case, but instead of the lid, a cling film is used. Holes for midges are made with a toothpick or gypsy needle. Inside, you can put a used tea bag or pour tea leaves.
4. You can make midges traps by using a small plastic container. Two-thirds of it is filled with red wine, to which a small amount of liquid soap is added to give the mixture a viscous consistency. The bait will get rid of a large number of midges.
5. If in the house there was not one of the listed containers, then the midge trap can be made from an ordinary plastic bag. This method is not so effective and convenient, but will achieve a certain result. In a package, put a spoonful of jam or a slice of sweet fruit. After a large number of midges appear in it, it should be quickly tied up and thrown away. A plastic bag can be put on a plate on which to place the bait. Through the holes made in the bag, insects will climb inside, but they will not be able to get out.
6. Trap with liquid. Approximately 150 ml of water should be poured into a glass jar. Add sugar or honey to it to attract insects. Lubricate the side inner surfaces of the jar with Vaseline. Midges cannot get out of such a trap.
