In my opinion, better protection than the Raptor plate does not exist. Convenient, cheap, and most importantly safe.
There is no safe chemistry. It is much more useful to use clove oil or green tea for these purposes. And you can just spread with a mixture of baby cream and vanillin. This is really cheap and safe.
